Vultr Announces Milan, Italy, as 33rd Cloud Data Center Region

Vultr is expanding our worldwide footprint with the addition of Milan, Italy, as our 33rd cloud data center region.

This adds to Vultr’s extensive coverage in Europe; Milan is Vultr’s ninth European cloud data center region, joining Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Paris, Stockholm, and Warsaw. Now, we’re providing Milan’s vibrant enterprise and developer community with the infrastructure they need to power demanding compute and AI workloads at scale.

We’re also now a connected Autonomous System Number at the Milan Internet Exchange. This enables us to peer with any other ASN in the MIX, keeping traffic local and giving regional users lower latency and higher bandwidth.

We’re excited to open our new location during Milan’s AI Week 2026, when over 700 international speakers will assemble at Fiera Milano Rho for Europe’s largest AI event, a reflection of the role the city plays in Europe’s strong and growing AI landscape. We’re a platinum sponsor of Milan AI Week, and we’re also co-hosting over 1,000 participants at the AI Agent Olympics Hackathon.

Our Milan data center region will deliver our full-stack AI infrastructure, including our flagship compute offering, Vultr VX1™ Cloud Compute. Vultr VX1 is geared for demanding workloads like AI, web servers, SaaS platforms, workspaces, ERP software, microservices and APIs, databases, in-memory caches, analytics services, dev/test environments, and more.

Vultr Cloud Compute delivers advantages in price, performance, and efficiency each: With up to 23% better performance and 33% lower cost, Vultr Cloud Compute carries a price-to-performance advantage of up to 82% over efficiency-optimized hyperscaler compute plans.

Vultr Cloud Compute plans offer dedicated compute resources with broad software compatibility, easy integration, and lower power consumption. Plans are available in 2-, 4-, 8-, 16-, 32-, 48-, 64-, 96-, and 192-vCPU sizes, offering maximum flexibility to scale infrastructure as needed.

Our Milan data center location will also offer Vultr’s bare metal and cloud GPU offerings from NVIDIA and AMD.

Our open, composable platform, easy scalability, and transparent billing is designed to make critical cloud infrastructure accessible on a global level – reaching 90% of the world’s population in 2-40ms. Our arrival in Milan is another chapter in our multi-decade history of democratizing access to cloud computing.
