Expanding Our AMD Partnership to Power the Next Generation of Global AI Innovation

Vultr and AMD are deepening our collaboration to deliver the performance, scalability, and energy efficiency required for cutting-edge AI workloads.

We’re expanding our AMD Instinct™ MI355X GPU supercluster capacity with a new 50 MW deployment at 5C’s Springfield, Ohio campus, providing a significant boost in compute power for enterprises and AI innovators.

This expansion adds more than 24,000 additional GPUs, delivering exceptional performance per dollar for model training and inference. It strengthens Vultr’s ability to support increasingly complex AI systems with greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs provide robust and efficient acceleration for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. On Vultr’s composable cloud platform, you can deploy these next-generation GPUs with just a few clicks – no complex setup required.

Vultr was among the first cloud providers to deploy AMD Instinct MI325X and MI355X GPUs, and this expansion marks a significant step in Vultr’s commitment to AMD’s 2026 roadmap. With future AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs and the Helios rack architecture on the horizon, Vultr continues to advance high-performance, sovereign-ready infrastructure for the global AI ecosystem.

Together, Vultr and AMD are empowering teams worldwide to build and scale the next generation of AI-driven innovation – at speed, at scale, and with global reach. Read the full press release here.
