IT leaders are under increasing pressure. Cloud costs continue to rise, while budgets stagnate or shrink. New AI initiatives are under the microscope, requiring new resources and focus, while geographic derisking plans are increasingly important, threatening to increase costs further. Something has to give.
We’re listening. At Vultr, we’ve long been committed to offering affordable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure at unmatched low cost and high efficiency. We are renewing this commitment with the launch of enterprise-grade Vultr VX1™ Cloud Compute plans, designed to offer the most affordable compute for cloud-native workloads.
Leveraging the extremely-efficient Vultr platform in combination with a new generation of compute servers, these new plans offer cost relief – delivering up to 77% more performance per dollar compared to the most cost-effective (Arm-based) hyperscaler plans, and up to 33% greater cost-effectiveness per vCPU – without sacrificing performance.
Optimized for the web and data tiers
Vultr VX1 plans are architected for core business workloads, including use cases such as web servers, SaaS platforms, workspaces, ERP software, microservices and APIs, databases, in-memory caches, analytics services, and dev/test environments where single-core speed and performance are less important than overall total cost.
Powered by latest-generation hyper-dense CPU servers, Vultr VX1 compute plans offer dedicated compute resources. These new VX1 plans deliver a familiar product with broad software compatibility while offering unmatched efficiency and a seamless migration path. Plus, they require 48% less power-per-vCPU than other Vultr cloud compute plans with dedicated resources, providing greater sustainability.
VX1 plans are available in 4-, 8-, 16-, 32-, 48-, 64-, 96-, and 192-vCPU sizes, offering the flexibility to optimize infrastructure and decrease total costs. Customers can harness Vultr Block Storage boot disks for faster migrations and reprovisioning, as well as persistent, redundant, and encrypted boot disks that can be expanded without reattachment. Enjoy the flexibility to provision virtual machines only when required for intermittent workloads, or leverage local NVMe for workloads requiring the fastest storage I/O.
Built on a trusted platform
Vultr was built to be the world’s most efficient cloud platform. Our streamlined and easy-to-use interface and composable architecture enable customers to power workloads without being locked into an ecosystem.
