Wasabi Joins the Vultr Cloud Alliance to Deliver Greater Cloud Flexibility and Better Economics
Vultr today announced that Wasabi Technologies, a cloud object storage provider, has joined the Vultr Cloud Alliance, bringing together Vultr cloud infrastructure and Wasabi S3-compatible object storage to give organizations greater flexibility and better economics across compute and storage.

Applications and data do not always grow at the same rate. Infrastructure teams need to optimize compute and storage independently based on performance, capacity, and economics.
With Vultr and Wasabi, customers can run applications and workloads on Vultr while keeping data in Wasabi. Direct private connectivity between the two environments is designed to improve the economics of accessing Wasabi Object Storage from Vultr compute.
Wasabi provides predictable object storage pricing with no egress or API request fees. Vultr provides high-performance cloud compute with included bandwidth and predictable egress pricing, supported by direct connectivity to Wasabi. Together, customers get better economics across compute, storage, and data access as they scale.
Keep data in Wasabi, run applications on Vultr
For organizations already using Wasabi, the partnership provides a practical way to introduce Vultr compute without changing their existing storage strategy.
Applications running on Vultr Cloud Compute, Bare Metal, Vultr Kubernetes Engine (VKE), or Vultr Cloud GPU can use Wasabi as an S3-compatible object storage target. This creates a more composable approach to cloud infrastructure, giving organizations the choice to select and scale compute and storage independently based on the performance, capacity, and economics each workload requires.
The combination supports a broad range of data-intensive use cases, including backup and disaster recovery, long-term data retention, cloud applications, and the storage and processing of large media and content libraries. This flexibility also extends to AI, enabling organizations to store datasets and other AI data in Wasabi while using Vultr Cloud GPU and compute infrastructure to meet the performance and capacity their workloads require.
