Built on the new AMD CDNA 4 architecture, these next-generation GPUs deliver outstanding performance and energy efficiency for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing. Working closely with AMD and Supermicro, we’re bringing this robust new infrastructure to our global cloud platform. Combined with AMD Instinct MI325X and MI300X GPUs, AMD EPYC™ 7003, 9004 and 4005 processors, and GPU Enabled Images featuring ROCm™ open software, Vultr supports the full stack of AMD solutions, providing a complete compute solution from processor to accelerator.
Built for performance and efficiency
The AMD Instinct MI355X is based on the new AMD CDNA™ 4 architecture, delivering a significant leap in performance and energy efficiency for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. Each GPU includes up to 288 GB of HBM3E memory, enabling developers to run larger models entirely in memory. This helps reduce the number of GPUs required for inference, cutting infrastructure costs and energy consumption.
New precision, faster compute
The MI355X also introduces new low-precision formats – FP4 and FP6 – offering faster computational throughput and more efficient memory usage. This makes them ideal for deploying large AI models faster and more efficiently.
